How much notice is required to book a bridal appointment?We suggest booking at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure you get the time you want. Believe it or not bridal is seasonal, some weekends you could book the day before, if you are really lucky you could just walk-in.

Do I need to book an appointment?We recommend booking an appointment particularly for a Saturday. We like to ensure you get the best bridal experience possible. By having an appointment this ensures you have your own consultant for a one-on-one consultation who is there to help you into gowns, offer advice and answer all of your questions.

How long do appointments last?Our appointments are for an hour and a half where you will have your own personal consultant to offer suggestions and answer all your questions..

How should I prepare for my appointment?Should you have long hair, please try to wear it up. Ideally seamless under garments if you are looking at fitted gowns. NO spray tan as the tan rubs off on the gowns. Work out a budget before you get here. Perhaps have some inspiration pictures on your phone. Enjoy the process and let us look after you!

How many people can I bring to an appointment?As we are a small bridal boutique; we do try to cap the number of guests to 4 on a weekend. During the week you are welcome to bring along as many guests as you would like.

Is there a charge for an appointment?There is no charge or fee applied to a consultation. However, there is an expectation that once an appointment is booked that you would attend.

How long out should I order my gown?Some of our suppliers keep stock; so we potentially could have a gown here in a week. This isn’t always guaranteed, depends on the gown, the colour and the size of course. It is possible to order the gown as a rush if we need, this does generally incur an additional cost. Different designers have different lead times.

I have just ordered my gown.. when should I expect for receive it?Depends on the designer and the time of the year. We suggest allowing 6 months. We also need to remember that alterations can take up to 8 weeks.

Do you carry plus size gowns?We carry gowns up to size 26.

Help! I'm getting a married in a couple of months is it still possible to get a gown through you?We have a great range of gowns that we are happy to sell off the rack, some designers keep stock which means we can have a gown here in a week, some designers are able to rush a gown if necessary.

I just cant find exactly what I want, I like the tops of some and the bottoms of others.We are able custom make gowns. Bring the inspiration you have of the two gowns you are liking and we can discuss the possibility of custom making a stunning gown just for you.

Do you do alterations in store?We have an amazing dressmaker in store to look after all your alteration requirements. Nothing is left open to interpretation, we take responsibility to ensure your alterations are complete to how you want them.

What should I bring to my fitting appointment?Definitely, your shoes, need to come with you to each fitting. Wear the underwear you are going to wear on your wedding day. I doubt that you would need a bra as the gowns generally have bra cups built in. If you are wearing a fitted gown, seamless knickers are a must.

How long do alterations take?That depends on the gown, and how well it fits you. Ideally, we like to have your alterations done in 3 visits. Generally allowing 8 weeks, we can do alterations in less time if required.
